Services
We provide a variety of Rehabilitation Services and Procedures
to help your pet get back to living a full life.
At Balanced Paws, we strive to give your pet More Good Days!

Rehabilitation Consultation
During a rehabilitation consultation, your pet will receive a comprehensive evaluation designed to assess their overall mobility, comfort, and function. This begins with a detailed musculoskeletal exam to evaluate joints, muscles, posture, and movement, along with a neurologic assessment to check nerve function, reflexes, coordination, and gait.
We also take time to thoroughly review your pet’s medical history and any previous diagnostic results to ensure we have a complete picture of their health background.
Following the examination, we will discuss our findings in detail and outline treatment options or recommendations tailored to your pet’s individual needs. This whole process is about 60-90 minutes.
After the visit, a written summary of the consultation, including our findings and plan, will be emailed to you for your reference and to share with your primary veterinarian if desired

Treatments
At Balanced Paws Veterinary Rehabilitation, we offer integrative therapies designed to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance your pet’s quality of life. Our services include:
-
Acupuncture – Promotes healing, reduces pain, and supports whole-body balance through targeted stimulation of specific points.
-
Laser Therapy – A non-invasive treatment that uses light energy to decrease inflammation, relieve pain, and speed tissue repair.
-
Medical Manipulation (Chiropractic Care) – Gentle adjustments that restore proper alignment, improve movement, and ease discomfort.
-
Therapeutic Exercise Plans – Customized programs to build strength, improve flexibility, and support long-term mobility.
-
Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy – Uses gentle electromagnetic fields to reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and support tissue healing

Procedures
-
Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy – Uses focused sound waves to stimulate healing in joints, tendons, and ligaments, reduce pain, and improve function.
-
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Injections – Harnesses your pet’s own healing cells to decrease inflammation and promote tissue repair, often used in arthritis and tendon injuries.
-
Arthramid® Injections – A long-acting joint therapy that cushions and stabilizes joints, providing sustained pain relief for osteoarthritis.
-
Intravenous Ketamine Infusions – Advanced pain control option that helps manage chronic or severe pain when standard therapies are not enough.
Digital Thermal Imaging
Thermal imaging uses a highly sensitive infrared camera to measure, compile, and analyze the electromagnetic energy emitted from a patient.
Veterinary-specific software converts the temperatures into images where these thermal emissions can be easily visualized. Temperature data directly correlates to changes within the circulatory, nervous, and musculoskeletal systems.
